Néstor Javier Fúnez Rodríguez is a fourth- generation coffee producer. His farm, El Río, grows Catuaí, Lempira, and Parainema, using Inga, orange, and mango trees for shade. Despite being subject to drought, leaf rust, and landslides, Néstor is reinforcing renovation, fertilization, and shade management to recover by 2026. For Néstor, coffee is resilience, family, and future. With a complex profile touching on spiced wine and dark chocolate this coffee represents that ambition and commitment to craft and quality.
